In an effort to support the local community and environmental sustainability efforts, Northstar™ Resort contributes to charitable organizations on behalf of its employees and resort guests. In the 2006.07 winter season,  Northstar Resort assisted with the fundraising efforts for a number of local and environmental organizations, raising more than $51,000 for programs including Excellence in Education, Tahoe Women’s Services, the National Forestry Foundation, Project MANA, Truckee Community Christmas, the Truckee Humane Society and Rock the Earth.

Northstar™ Resort Charitable Donations

In an effort to continue to support not-for-profit organizations,  Northstar Resorts is pleased to provide charitable contributions in the form of Northstar Resorts lift tickets, mountain biking tickets, and golf to not-for-profit organizations that meet our donation criteria.

Please be advised that the Resort only considers donation requests from local Truckee and Lake Tahoe based organizations and/or causes that support snowsports specific programs. If you are interested in submitting a charitable request, please review the criteria listed below:

• Requests must be received a minimum of 60 days prior to the event date.
• The standard donation is one of the following options:
  • Two one-day adult lift ticket valid Monday through Friday at all Booth Creek® Resorts, excluding blackout dates.
  • Two one-day adult Mountain Biking tickets valid Sunday through Friday, excluding blackout dates.
  • Two Rounds of Golf valid Sunday through Thursdasy after 1:00 p.m., excluding blackout dates.
